How to Prevent Oneself From Getting Hacked

Recently i have met a suspicious guy on Steam who i believe is trying to hack me. Luckily, i prevented myself from being scammed successfully, so i am going to teach you how to identify and prevent yourself from getting scammed on Steam.
(NOTE: This applies in preventing yourself getting hacked elsewhere online too!)

As shown above, the hacker/ suspicious person will try to be friendly with you for 1 to 3 days or maybe a month, then he will send a file which he presume is a screenshot, but instead, it is a script file (.scr) (In short- a file that launch and modify your computer system automatically without you knowing or your approval). This is extremely dangerous as you may lose your Steam in-game item or even worse, your money stored in banks!

If you are unsure what is in the link you may click into it, but when you click it you see something like this, press cancel immediately and block him/ unfriend/ report him or her!
